Laziness is not only the father of innovation it also helps to measure tasks efficiency. Trust it. If you can’t do anything, don’t do it. If you can’t do it now, don’t do it now. If you can’t do it yourself, don’t do it yourself.
DELETE #
Throw unproductive tasks, which have doubtful prospects, right off the cliff, as it was in Ancient Sparta. "Does this really need to be done?" is the first stage in filtering any task. A clear vision in all your life areas — business, health, family, creativity — will help answer this question. If a task does not let you accomplish your vision, throw it away.
DELAY #
The second stage is to ask yourself the question "What exactly must be done right now?" When you think about the task urgency, you can understand its real priority. This is a guarantee that another more useful for you or your business task will not lose its priority.
DELEGATE #
Even if the task has already passed through the two stages, it still can fail to pass through the third one. Here is the next question: "Does this need to be done by me?" The task should always be a little bit more challenging than what you can do very well by now.
DO IT #
So you cherry-picked the task. The time for questions is over. Here your work begins. Roll up your sleeves, start Pomodoro and go ahead.
