Attach files to the tasks!

In the desktop and web versions of the app we have added attaching files to tasks in the Pro-version!

Attach any files up to 5 MB: drag and drop a file inside the task with the mouse or click the paperclip icon.
Attached image files will be displayed as covers, other files as titles.
Tasks with files can be moved between projects and copied.
In the settings added options for downloading and deleting files.
Files are synchronized with the SingularityApp server. For unlimited attachments you can connect your S3 server!

Improvements on task repeats in this release!

"After completion" mode in repeat settings: tasks will be created after a specified number of days from the completion date of the previous task.
Setting "Create a new task after completion of the previous one" in other modes - will create a task on the next scheduled repeat day.

Big update on repetitive tasks! Read it!

Repeating tasks for future dates are now immediately visible in Plans and Calendar, you can edit them and mark them completed.

We've kept the repetition templates working. Projects will display a template with circular arrows and the nearest task according to this template.
You can still edit a template to apply changes to all future tasks at once.
You can change or delete an individual instance - it won't affect other tasks or the template.

The update affects all platforms. Please update your apps on all devices in use.

Calendar improvements and notification of important updates

In this release we have made some improvements to the calendar:

Added display of task completion time in the tooltip when hovering over a task.
Changed sorting of tasks that overlap by time. Sorting takes into account start time, attachment and priority.
We have made it possible to change the project through the context menu of the task in the calendar.

In addition, we have added a notification window for important updates: it will appear if the application update is critical to continue working. And we fixed some minor bugs in the application.

Task dates can now be selected in the past and other improvements!

In this release, we've released improvements that make planning easier and more convenient.
Here are some of them:

Task dates can now be selected in the past. Convenient if you need to update yesterday's schedule. Through the calendar you can move a task 3 weeks into the past, through the text input field you can specify a date even earlier.
Clicking again on a date in the calendar now closes the calendar.
In the visual notes editor, we show the editor toolbar only after the text selection is finished, so that it does not overlap the text during selection.
Notification texts have been made more visual: changed the display of task name and execution time.
Fixed insertion of multi-line lists so that tasks are added in the same order as list items.
Added output of archived tasks in the project archive.

Updated Calendar!

There are many improvements to the Calendar mode in this release. Here are just a few of them:

Mark tasks done and unmark tasks directly in the calendar without opening the task. Just hover over it and a checkbox appears.
We've added high-priority and pinned indicators for tasks.
Added multi-line names of tasks.
Added placeholder during task drag-n-drop.
Made drag-n-drop by time and stretching tasks smoother, with 5 minute intervals.
Made smooth switching of dates by horizontal swipe.

We also added a shortcut to the list of basic hotkeys in the application to the Help menu. Try it, it is more convenient ;-)

Task duration

We've added the ability to edit the end time for tasks:

Open the calendar to select a date and time from the task. Specify the start time. Next to that, in the box, specify the end time.
For a recurring task template, also specify start and end times so that instances are created at these times.
In the task lists, the start and end times of the task will be displayed next to the date

Share your task list with whomever you want!

We've added the ability to share a link to a project.

Go to the project and click on the "Share" icon to the right of the project name.
At the bottom of the invite window, we've added a toggle to share the link. Turn it on if you want to share. Click on the link to copy.
The project opened by the link will be accessible without a Singularity account. Everyone you send the link to will be able to open it in their browser and see up to 100 tasks in the project, mark completed tasks and checklists.
You can always close access to the link with a switch in the project.
If you turn off access and turn it on again, we'll generate a new link and you can share it.

Evening start time

In this release, we’ve added customization of the start time of the evening!

Settings → General. Choose any time after 12:00AM when your evening starts.
If a task has the date «This evening» selected, it will be scheduled for the selected time.
If date recognition from the task name is enabled, the «evening» time will be the time you selected in the setup.

We fixed the panel with important icons and the menu button at the bottom, so it's easy to touch with one hand.

Recognizing date and time from task name!

Write "tomorrow at 12" in the task name - Singularity will set the task to tomorrow's date and time 12:00. Dictate the date when voice inputting and it will be added for the task immediately too.
- The date recognition language will be set automatically depending on the application interface language. You can change it through Settings → General.
- If you decide to disable recognition, select the date recognition language option "No".

Nice improvements in this release:
• We've added sorting by deadline to task lists.
• Added a "Default Alarm Clock" setting. Enable it under Settings → Notifications to have the alarm go off immediately for new tasks.

• Add a task to a section by tapping on the section name.
