Review Mode

Review is a useful feature in the desktop versions of the app that helps you regularly revisit your projects and keep them from «stagnating.» It allows you to maintain order among your tasks so that no project gets forgotten.

How the “Review” Mode Works

Important! The app does not send automatic reminders about the need to perform a review. Starting this mode is a voluntary action that helps you keep your projects up to date.

If you don’t want to forget about reviews, we recommend setting up a recurring weekly task.

Starting the Mode

To begin a review, click the “Review” icon in the top toolbar. The app will switch to a dedicated review mode.

Review Process

In this mode, a blue bar will appear at the top of the screen, and colored indicators will show up next to each project in the list to reflect their review status:

  • Red indicator: The project requires your attention. The review date has arrived or already passed.
  • Green indicator: The project was reviewed today. Everything is up to date.
  • Gray (no) indicator: The project has already been reviewed, and the next review date has not yet come.

Your task is to go through each project marked with a red indicator:

  • Delete outdated tasks.
  • Add new ones.
  • Reevaluate priorities and deadlines.
  • Schedule tasks that don’t yet have dates.

Use the arrows on the blue bar to switch between projects that need review.

Once you’ve organized a project, click the “Reviewed” button on the blue bar. The project’s indicator will turn green, and the app will automatically move you to the next project.

How to Complete a Review

You can exit Review Mode at any time by clicking the “Exit” button on the blue bar.

If you finish the review before going through all projects with red indicators, they will keep their status and will be shown again the next time you start this mode.

Setting Review Intervals

You can set either a general review interval for all projects or a custom one for each individual project.

General Interval for All Projects

  1. Open the app’s Settings. You can do this through the system menu (SingularityApp → Settings) or using the shortcut Ctrl + , / + ,
  2. In the settings, select the review interval that works best for you: 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 6 months, or “Never”.

Custom Interval for a Specific Project

If a particular project requires more frequent or less frequent attention, you can set a personalized review interval for it.

  1. Right-click the desired project in the sidebar.
  2. Select “Review” from the context menu.
  3. Choose the appropriate interval: 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 6 months, or “Never”.
The documentation is automatically generated. If you haven’t found the answer to your question, please contact us at support..
