FAQ: Subscriptions and Promo Codes

You can gift an Elite or Pro plan to anyone — including yourself — using a gift card.

You can purchase a gift card in the Buy Elite or Pro as a Gift section.

Gift cards provide extended access to app features depending on the selected plan and vary by duration.

The activation code will be sent to the recipient’s email address specified during purchase.

The paid period for the gift card begins immediately after the activation code is applied. The card is not automatically applied to the account — this allows the user to decide when to activate it. The recipient can also choose to give the activation code to someone else.

If the user has an active subscription purchased through Google Play or the App Store, it must be canceled before activating the gift card. We recommend applying the gift card after the store-based subscription expires, so you can first use the remaining days of that subscription and then activate the gift card period.

If the user has an active subscription purchased on the website, the gift card can be applied at any time — the current subscription will be «paused» and will automatically resume when the gift card period ends.

Example: You have an active annual card subscription from January 1 to December 31. If you activate a one-month gift card on July 1, the gift card plan will be active from July 1 to July 31, and your subscription will resume on August 1, extending until January 31 of the following year.

After the gift card period ends, the app will revert to the active subscription if one was in effect at the time of activation — or to the basic plan if there was no active subscription.

The Pro subscription is paused for the duration of the promo code (starting from the activation date and lasting for the period specified in the promo code) and will resume once it expires.

A gift promo code is an activation code for a gift card sent to your email. You can purchase a gift card on the website and send it to anyone — even yourself ;)

To activate a promo code from a gift card:

On the website

You can activate the promo code on the website at any time — whether you currently have a subscription or not. Go to the promo code activation page. Log in to the account where you want to apply the gift promo code, or register a new account. On the next step, enter your promo code in the «Your promo code» field. The code will be applied to the account you’re logged into.

In the Android, Windows, Linux, or Web version of the app

You can activate a promo code in the app for accounts without an active paid subscription. To activate it, go to «Settings,» select «Synchronization,» click «I have a promo code,» and enter the code in the window that appears.

Important:

• Promo codes cannot be activated in Apple apps because Apple restricts this method of accessing paid features. Simply activate the code on any other device or via the website, and your Pro or Elite access will be available for the account across all app versions, including on Apple devices.
