Toolbars in SingularityApp are panels that provide quick access to the most important and frequently used features. They’re located at the top and bottom of the main app window and let you perform key actions with a single click.
Upper toolbar
The «+» button opens the quick task creation form, where you can enter a title, add a description, and configure task settings.
Habits — opens the habit tracker.
Search — opens the search bar. Enter at least three characters to get search results.
Calendar — opens a calendar pop-up. Use it to jump to the task list for a specific date by clicking that date. Dots next to dates indicate that tasks are scheduled for those days.
Planning Calendar — opens the calendar in a panel to the right of the current task list, so you can plan by dragging tasks directly from the list to the date and time you need. Click the button again to close the panel.
Task Filter — opens a list of all your tasks, except archived and deleted ones, in the main panel. The filter settings panel opens on the right.
Tags — opens the Tags panel. Here you can set tag colors and keyboard shortcuts, drag tags into one another to create nested tags, or add tags to tasks.
Review — opens Project Review mode. A special panel at the top of the app shows:
- the total number of projects to review;
- the dates of the last and next reviews;
- buttons for navigating between projects;
- a button to mark a project as reviewed;
- a button to finish the review.
Focus — opens Focus mode. All projects disappear from the sidebar except the focused project and projects added to Favorites. A special panel at the top of the app shows the currently focused project and lets you remove the focus.
Notifications — opens a list of all tasks with triggered notifications.
Pomodoro — opens the Pomodoro countdown timer. You can move the timer window anywhere on the screen.
New Window — opens another instance of the app in a new window, so you can work in multiple windows at the same time.
New Section — adds a new section to a project. You’ll need to enter the section name in the field that appears.
Move — the icon is active only when a task is selected. Clicking it opens a list of all projects and two system folders — Inbox and Unplaced. To attach a task to a project, simply click on it.
Delete Task — moves the selected task to the Trash.
