Prompt examples for Agent modeElite

Agent mode is the full-featured mode for working with your data. Here the assistant doesn’t just answer questions — it actively works with your tasks, projects, and habits: it creates, edits, deletes, searches, and analyzes. Instead of doing everything by hand in the app, you write a request and the assistant handles it for you.

This page collects prompts along with the kind of responses you can expect. They’ll help you see how to phrase a prompt to get a useful answer, what quality of answer to expect, and how to refine a prompt if the result isn’t what you wanted. Use these examples as a starting point for your own requests — adapt them to your own tasks and needs.

The AI assistant understands plain, natural language, so write your prompts the way you’d talk to a person. No special syntax needed.

Note: The same prompt can produce different results — that’s normal. If the result isn’t what you wanted, rephrase the request or start a new chat (the AI takes the conversation history into account). Try a more powerful model if you need a better result.

Create and edit tasks

Here you’ll find prompt examples for creating new tasks, changing existing ones, and deleting the ones you no longer need. Use them when you want to quickly add a task to your list, change its details (name, due date, priority, tags), or delete an outdated task. Agent mode is a great fit for this — the assistant runs all the operations on your data automatically.

Simple requests

  • Create a new task “Prepare the presentation.”
  • Edit the task “Buy groceries” and set the due date to tomorrow.
  • Delete the task “Old project.”

More detailed requests

  1. Create the task "Write an article about new AI trends" with "High" priority and set the due date to the end of the week. Add the tags "work" and "AI."
  2. I have a task "Prep for the client meeting." Edit it: change the description to "Prepare the presentation and gather all the documents," add extra fields, and set a reminder for the day before the meeting.
  3. I'm home for the holidays, the weather outside is bad, and I'm tired of watching shows. Create a checklist of ideas for things adults and kids can do.

Find and filter tasks

Here you’ll find prompt examples for finding, filtering, and sorting your tasks. Use them when you want to quickly find a task by name, tags, or other details, filter tasks by priority or due date, or see only the tasks you haven’t finished yet.

Simple requests

  • Show all tasks tagged “work.”
  • Find tasks due this week.
  • Filter tasks by “High” priority.

More detailed requests

  1. Find all unfinished tasks in the “New service launch” project with “High” or “Medium” priority and sort them by due date.
  2. Show me all the tasks I created this week but haven’t started yet. Include their tags and deadlines so I can see what to work on first.

Organize projects and workflow

Here you’ll find prompt examples for creating and organizing projects and structuring your tasks by section and status. Use them when you want to create a new project, break tasks into stages, change a task’s status, or set up your work by a specific method.

  1. Create a project “Q1 2025 Growth Plans” and structure it: add the sections “Business,” “Product,” “Marketing,” and “HR.” In each section, create 2–3 tasks with different priorities.
  2. Help me restructure the “New service launch” project: create subprojects for each stage (Planning, Development, Testing, Launch).

Plan your day and schedule

Here you’ll find prompt examples for planning your day, week, or month. Use them when you want to build a schedule, set task reminders, split your time between different things, or plan your working hours.

  1. Check whether I have any conflicts on tomorrow’s schedule, and if I do, suggest alternative times.
  2. Set reminders for all the tasks due by the end of the month. The reminder should come a day before the deadline.
  3. Move the task “Write the report” from Monday to Wednesday, because a meeting came up.
  4. Look at my schedule for this week and suggest free time when I could meet up with friends. Keep in mind the meetup should be at least 2 hours.

Manage habits and track progress

Here you’ll find prompt examples for creating habits, tracking your progress on tasks and projects, and viewing your completion stats. Use them when you want to create a daily or weekly habit, mark progress on a project, or see how you’re doing toward your goals.

  1. Create the habit “Work out” for every day at 7:00 AM and mark it as done for the last three days.
  2. Show my progress across all projects: how many tasks I’ve finished, how many are left, and the completion percentage for each project.
  3. Mark all tasks in the “Launch an expert blog” project as done and show what percentage of the project is complete.
  4. Show my stats for the past week: how many tasks I finished and which days I was most productive.
