NotesElite

note is a special type of entry in projects. Notes and tasks appear in the same list, but they’re easy to tell apart. Tasks have checkboxes that you can mark as completed. Notes, on the other hand, are shown with a notepad icon .

This distinction is intentional: notes are meant for storing information and keeping records, so they can’t be marked as completed.

  • If a note becomes irrelevant, you can delete it.
  • If you want a note to become a task, you can convert it into one and mark it as completed.
  • Notes are available only to users on the Elite plan.

Creating a Note

There are several ways to create a note:

  1. Through the task context menu:
    • Create a task.
    • Open the context menu and select «Convert to note».
    • To switch it back, repeat the steps.
  2. Through the app menu:
    • In the desktop and web versions, choose File → New note or use the shortcut ⌘ Cmd + G
  3. Through a project-notebook:
    • Create a dedicated project where all new items will be added as notes.
