In the desktop versions of the app, you can customize how SingularityApp displays tasks whose due dates have already passed. This helps you either stay focused on the current list or, on the contrary, visually highlight your “overdue” items.
How to Set Up Tracking
Go to the app settings.
Open the „Interface“ tab.
Find the settings block for overdue tasks under „Right Panel“ and choose one of the three modes.
Display Modes
Hide
In this mode, overdue tasks are not highlighted in the list. They look like regular tasks without a date, which helps you stay focused and not get distracted by missed deadlines. On the Today screen, overdue tasks will appear in the Overdue section if the corresponding grouping is enabled.
Show
When this option is selected, each overdue task displays the date it was originally scheduled for. This is useful if you want to see exactly when the task was supposed to be completed.
Track
This mode enables visual indicators:
Counter: A counter showing the total number of overdue tasks appears next to the „Today“ folder in the sidebar.
Color indicators: Task dates are displayed on colored badges to the left of the task title. The badges change color depending on how long ago the task became overdue:
Gray: overdue by 1–2 days.
Yellow-gray: overdue by 3–4 days.
Red-gray: overdue by 5 days or more.
