Vivo Notifications

The OriginOS shell (formerly FuntouchOS) by Vivo actively manages background app activity to save battery power. Because of this, you may need to adjust additional settings manually to ensure that SingularityApp notifications work reliably.

How to Check Your Vivo OS Version

  1. Open your phone’s Settings.
  2. Select “My Phone”.
  3. Find the instructions below that match your system version.

Auto-start

According to Vivo, this option should be available on all Vivo phones.

  • Newer OS versions: Settings → More Settings → Apps → Auto-start.
  • For Funtouch OS 2.6 and earlier versions: Manager → App Manager → Auto-start Manager.

Unrestricted Battery Usage

Starting with Android 13, you can set unrestricted battery usage for each app individually: System Settings → SingularityApp → Battery.

Background Power Usage Restrictions

Also starting with Android 13, you can configure this per app in the Battery section: Settings → Battery → Background Power Consumption Management.

App Pinning

Pin SingularityApp to the Taskbar

Apps pinned to the taskbar are protected from being closed while running in the background.

Method 1:

  1. Swipe up on the home screen while SingularityApp is open in the background, then drag the app icon down.
  2. Tap the lock icon.
  3. Done — SingularityApp is now pinned to the taskbar.

  1. Drag SingularityApp down while it’s open in the background.
  2. Tap the lock icon that appears.
  3. SingularityApp is now pinned.

Pin SingularityApp in the Recent Apps Menu

Pinning the app in the recent apps menu may vary slightly across Android versions — in the recent apps view, find SingularityApp, open its submenu, and look for the “Pin” or “Lock” option.

  1. Select “Lock” in the submenu at the top-right corner.
  2. The app is now pinned.

Allow SingularityApp to Run with High Power Consumption

Method 1:

  1. Go to System Settings → Battery.
  2. Open the “High Background Power Consumption” section.
  3. Find SingularityApp in the list and allow high power consumption.

  3. Enable it for SingularityApp.

Battery Optimization

In the Battery section, you can add SingularityApp to the list of non-optimized apps to prevent it from being closed by optimization processes:

  1. Press and hold the app icon, then tap “App Info”.
  2. In the App Info menu, scroll down to Battery and tap the usage percentage.
  3. In the Battery Usage section, tap “Battery Optimization”.
