Focus Mode

The Focus Mode is a special tool for concentrated work on a single project and its subprojects in the desktop version. When enabled, you’ll see only the tasks from that project and its subprojects across all sections of the app. All other projects and tasks are temporarily hidden, allowing you to stay focused on what matters most.

How to Enable Focus Mode

There are two simple ways to activate this mode:

Method 1: Select the desired project in the sidebar and click the “Focus” icon in the top toolbar.
Method 2: Right-click the project in the sidebar and choose “Focus” from the context menu.

When Focus Mode is enabled, a blue bar appears at the top of the app showing the name of the project you’re focused on.

How to Work in Focus Mode

While working in this mode, all standard sections of the app will display only the tasks from the selected project:

Search: Global search will only return results for tasks within the project currently in focus.
Sections “Plans”, “Today”, and “Someday”: These sections will show only tasks that belong to the focused project.

How to Exit Focus Mode

To return to the regular view and see all your projects and tasks again, simply click the “Exit Focus” button on the blue bar at the top of the screen.
