Geolocation-based notifications are «smart» reminders in the mobile app that trigger not by time but based on your location. The app can remind you about a task when you arrive at a specific place (for example, «Buy groceries» when approaching a store) or when you leave it («Turn off the lights» when leaving home).
Granting Permissions
When you use this feature for the first time, the app will ask for access to your location. This is required so it can detect your position and send reminders at the right time.
- In the task settings, tap the «Location» option.
- The app will request access. Tap «Grant access.» The app settings window will open. Go to «App permissions» → «Location.»
- Select «Allow all the time» and make sure «Use precise location» is enabled.
- After granting permissions, the app may restart.
