Creating a Notebook

How to create a notebook:

Go to the menu File → New notebook.
To convert an existing project into a notebook, open the project menu and select Convert to notebook.

When creating a project: In the new project window, enable the “Notebook” toggle. This will immediately create the project in notebook format.
In an existing project: If a project is already created as a regular one, you can convert it into a notebook. To do this, choose the “Convert to notebook” option in the project menu.

Notebook Features

In a notebook project, notes are added by default instead of tasks. To add a new note, you can:

Click the button at the bottom of the screen.
Press the spacebar on your keyboard.
Use the shortcut Ctrl (Cmd) + G.

The shortcut Ctrl (Cmd) + G works for creating notes not only in notebooks but also in regular Singularity projects.

In a notebook project, notes are added by default instead of tasks. To add a new note, simply tap the button at the bottom of the screen.

Any project can be converted into a notebook and back. When converting a project into a notebook, all existing tasks will remain tasks, while new items will automatically be added as notes.
