The OxygenOS interface from OnePlus actively manages app activity to save battery power. To ensure stable delivery of notifications from SingularityApp, some additional manual setup may be required.
How to Check Your OnePlus OS Version
To check the operating system version on your OnePlus device, follow these steps:
Open Settings.
Scroll down and select âAbout Phoneâ or âPhone Informationâ.
Find the line âAndroid Versionâ â it will show the version of the installed OS.
Below that, youâll usually see the firmware version: OxygenOS (or ColorOS for devices made for the Chinese market).
Important! Some OnePlus models may have their own system version with a slightly different interface, so the menu names may vary.
Deep Optimization (or Adaptive Battery). This is the main mechanism that closes background apps. If you need an app to keep running in the background, disable this option.
Sleep Standby Optimization. OnePlus analyzes your sleep patterns and disables network connections during that time, which can block the delivery of push notifications.
Locking an app in the recent apps list can help prevent it from being force-closed in the background and from battery optimization settings being reset.
However, this is not a 100% safeguard â itâs a good idea to periodically check your system settings.
How to Lock an App:
Launch SingularityApp.
Open the list of recent apps (swipe up and hold).
Press and hold the SingularityApp window, then tap the âLockâ icon in the upper-right corner.
A closed lock icon will appear on the locked app.
Battery Optimization â What to Disable:
Open Settings â Apps.
Tap the gear icon (âď¸) â select âSpecial Accessâ â âBattery Optimizationâ.
Find SingularityApp and select âDonât optimizeâ.
Important! On some OnePlus devices, this setting may occasionally reset, putting the app back into âOptimizedâ mode. To prevent this, pin SingularityApp in the recent apps list.
