1. Open your phone’s Settings.
2. Scroll down and select “About Phone”.
3. Tap “Software Information”. Here you’ll see your Android and One UI versions.

Find the instructions below that correspond to your system version.

In most cases, the issue can be resolved by following just two simple steps. Start with these.

1. Pin the App in Memory

   This is the most reliable way to prevent the app from being force-closed by the system.

   1. Open the Recent Apps screen.
   2. Find the SingularityApp window.
   3. Tap the app icon above its window.
   4. In the menu that appears, select “Keep Open” (or “Lock”).
   5. A lock icon will appear on the app window. The system will now keep it running, even when you clear all apps.

2. Disable Battery Optimization for the App

   1. Go to Settings → Apps → SingularityApp.
   2. Tap Battery.
   3. Select “Unrestricted”.

If the first two steps didn’t help, check the following deeper settings.

Android 12, 13, 14

1. Check the Sleeping Apps lists:

   • Go to Settings → Device Care → Battery → Background Usage Limits.
   • Make sure SingularityApp is NOT listed under “Sleeping Apps” or “Deep Sleeping Apps”.
   • Be sure to disable the option “Put unused apps to sleep”, or the system will restrict the app again after a few days.

2. Turn off Adaptive Mode:

   • Go to Settings → Device Care → Battery → More Battery Settings.
   • Turn off “Adaptive Battery”.

3. For Android 14: Good Guardians App (by Samsung)

   • For extra control, you can install Samsung’s official Good Guardians app from the Galaxy Store.
   • Inside the app, in the Memory Guardian section, select the “Quick Switch” mode to keep apps active longer.
   • In the Battery Guardian section, disable the feature that automatically closes power-hungry apps.

Android 11

• Check Automatic Optimization:
  • Go to Settings → Device Care → Battery.
  • Tap the menu (three dots) and select “Automation” (or “Advanced”).
  • Turn off the “Auto Optimization Daily” option.

Android 9 and 10

• Disable Sleep Mode for Apps:
  • Go to Settings → Device Care → Battery.
  • Tap the menu (three dots) and select “Settings”.
  • Find and disable the options “Auto Disable Unused Apps” and “Adaptive Battery”.

Android 8, 7, and 6

• Add the App to the Whitelist:
  • Go to Settings → Device Care → Battery.
  • Scroll down to the list of “Unmonitored Apps” (or “Apps Not Monitored”)
  • Tap “Add Apps” and select SingularityApp. This will protect it from system restrictions.
