The right date is the foundation of any plan. In SingularityApp, you can set a task date in many ways: from selecting a day in a visual calendar to using quick keyboard shortcuts for common options like «Today» or «Tomorrow».
How to Set a Date for a Task
The task date is set using a small calendar. You can open it in several ways:
- By clicking the
Set Date and Time icon on the Bottom Toolbar.
- By clicking the
Date icon in the Task editor panel.
- Through the task’s context menu: Date.

Using hotkeys ⌘ Cmd + D
⌘ Cmd + T — to start the task today
⌘ Cmd + E — to start the task this evening
⌘ Cmd + O — to start the task someday
⌘ Cmd + K — to start the task tomorrow
⌘ Cmd + J — to postpone the task until the weekend
⌘ Cmd + U — to postpone the task for a month
- By clicking the
Date icon that appears to the left of the task when you hover over it.
- If the task already has a date, click it.
- Tap the
Date icon in the Task editor panel.
- Through the task’s context menu: Date.
- Tap the
Date icon that appears to the left of the task when you hover over it.
- If the task already has a date, tap it.
