Date

The right date is the foundation of any plan. In SingularityApp, you can set a task date in many ways: from selecting a day in a visual calendar to using quick keyboard shortcuts for common options like «Today» or «Tomorrow».

How to Set a Date for a Task

The task date is set using a small calendar. You can open it in several ways:

  1. By clicking the Set Date and Time icon on the Bottom Toolbar.
  2. By clicking the Date icon in the Task editor panel.
  3. Through the task’s context menu: Date.
  4. Using keyboard shortcuts:

    ⌘ Cmd/Ctrl + D

    ⌘ Cmd/Ctrl + T — start the task today

    ⌘ Cmd/Ctrl + E — start the task this evening

    ⌘ Cmd/Ctrl + 4 — start the task someday

    ⌘ Cmd/Ctrl + Y — start the task tomorrow

    ⌘ Cmd/Ctrl + J — postpone the task until the weekend

    ⌘ Cmd/Ctrl + U — postpone the task for a month

  5. By clicking the Date icon that appears to the left of the task when you hover over it.
  6. If the task already has a date, click it.
  1. Tap the Date icon in the Task editor panel.
  2. Through the task’s context menu: Date.
  3. Tap the Date icon that appears to the left of the task when you hover over it.
  4. If the task already has a date, tap it.
