Create a habit #
-
Open the Habits pane by clicking the Habits icon on the Upper toolbar.
- Click the Add a Habit button.
-
Enter a name for the habit in the field that appears and press Enter. Alternatively, you may enter the name in the pane that appears to the right and click the blue Save button.
In the same pane on the right, you can add a description of the habit and change its color (the color is set randomly by default).
The Basic plan allows you to create and track 3 habits, while on the Pro plan you can work with as many habits as you want.
Edit a habit #
You can adjust the name, description, color, and due days of the created habits in the enlarged window on the right pane.
You can also change the order of the habits in the general list by dragging them with Drag’n’Drop.
Track your progress #
Fill in the empty circles by clicking each one to track your daily progress. The more days in a row the habit is performed, the longer its band (chain).
If you don’t perform or complete your habit but don’t want to break the chain, click the colored habit circle again — an empty circle will appear on that day, while the chain will remain intact.
Habit statistics #
Below the field with all the habits, there are statistics as a percentage of the best and worst habits. Next to them, you can find the average percentage of all your habits.
You can also see the statistics of a particular habit in the window on the right by clicking any habit on the list.
Habit archive #
You can permanently delete habits that you don’t plan to rebuilt: along with the habit itself, all the statistics on it will be deleted as well. To save the data but remove the habit from the general list, send it to the Archive folder. To do this, do one of the following:
- Right-click on the habit and select «Send to archive».
- Click on the habit and select «Send to archive» in the window on the right.
All progress and statistics are archived along with the habit.
Archived habits are stored in the Archive folder in a separate tab from projects and tasks. To view detailed information about the habit (name, description, statistics), click on it and the window with all the information will appear on the right.
To restore a habit from the Archive, do one of the following:
- Select a habit from the list and right-click on it. Then click on «Restore from archive» on the pop-up menu.
- Select a habit from the list and click on it. In the pane that appears on the right, click on the «Restore from archive» button.
