Add Tasks via EmailProElite

Turn incoming emails into tasks without leaving your email client. It’s the perfect way to quickly capture a request from a colleague, save information from a newsletter, or move any actionable email straight into your to-do list.

Email for Adding Tasks

  1. Sign in to the app.
  2. Open the window for adding a task via Email: in the system menu, select FileAdd Task via Email, or in the context menu of the „Inbox“ folder, choose Add Task via Email.

Go to Settings → Add via Email.

  3. Copy the generated email address and send a task to it. The email subject will become the task title, and the email body will become the task note.

After sending the email, the new task will appear in SingularityApp.

Set Task Parameters

When adding a task via email, you can set several parameters using special symbols in the email subject:

  1. Deadline. To set a task deadline, use the ! (exclamation mark) symbol and specify a date. The deadline can be written as:

    • an exact date (!05/24/2025, !7/06/2024, !May 16 2024)
    • a word (!tomorrow, !Monday)
    • a phrase (!next Tuesday)
  2. Tag. To assign a tag to a task, use the @ symbol. You can add multiple tags.

    Notes:

    • In the phrase „Singularity is closer, @than you think!“, the tag „than you think!“ will be recognized — that is, all text after the @ symbol.
    • In the phrase „Singularity is closer, @than @you @think!“, three tags will be recognized: „than,“ „you,“ and „think!“ — each word after @ is a separate tag.
    • If a tag doesn’t exist in the app, it will be created automatically.
  3. Priority. To set a task’s priority or pin it to the top of the list, use the & (ampersand) symbol. Available parameters:

    • 0 — pin the task
    • 1 — high priority
    • 2 — medium priority
    • 3 — low priority
