Import from Todoist

The data transfer process requires obtaining a special key (API token) from your Todoist account. Follow these steps:

1. In the top system menu of SingularityApp, select File → Import → Import from Todoist.
2. In the window that appears, you’ll need to provide your Todoist API token. Click the link „To get the token, follow the link in the app“.
3. You’ll be redirected to the Todoist authorization page in your browser. If you’re not signed in yet, log in to your account.
4. Your unique API token will then appear on the screen. Copy it.
5. Return to SingularityApp and paste the copied token into the corresponding field.
6. Click Import and wait for the process to complete.

• Tasks in Todoist that had a recurrence set up will be imported into SingularityApp, but without their recurrence settings.

  This happens due to technical limitations of the Todoist API, which doesn’t allow recurrence rules to be transferred correctly. You’ll need to reconfigure recurrence for these tasks manually within SingularityApp.

• If tasks in Todoist use a specific time zone instead of «Floating Time», switch them to «Floating Time» and try importing again. After a successful import, you can revert to the original time zone in Todoist if needed.
