Move tasks to another project

Keeping your projects organized is a key part of effective planning. Tasks often need to be moved — from the Inbox to a specific project, or from one project to another as plans change. In SingularityApp, there are several quick and convenient ways to do this.

“Move” Dialog Box

  1. Open the Move window in one of the following ways:

    • Method 1. Press Cmd ⌘ + Shift ⇧ + M (on macOS) or Ctrl + Shift + M (on Windows).
    • Method 2. Right-click the task and choose «Move» from the context menu.
    • Method 3. Open the task editing window and click the project name.
    • Method 4. Click the «Move» button on the bottom toolbar.
  2. Select the desired folder or project — the task will move to the selected project as soon as the Move window closes.

  1. Open the Move window in one of the following ways:

    • Method 1. Select the desired task in the list and tap the «Move» button in the bottom menu.
    • Method 2. Swipe the task slightly to the left and tap the Move icon. Note: a long left swipe sends the task to the Trash.
    • Method 3. Tap the task in the list to open the task editing panel. Tap the current project name in the task editing window.
    • Method 4. Tap the task in the list to open the task editing panel. Tap ⋮ and select «Move» from the menu.
  2. Select the desired folder or project — the task will move to the selected project as soon as the Move window closes.
