Postpone tasks

If everything always goes according to plan, it means you are the only one in the world. For other people, it’s not like this. You can both get stuck in traffic, or your client gets sick, and you’ll have to cancel the meeting. You had a task and now you don’t have it. And you can’t say when you will have this task again. What can you do? Postpone it

To the weekend

If you postpone the task to the weekend, it will be displayed in the Someday folder. This coming Saturday, the task will appear in the Today folder.

Method 1. Select the task and press  ⌘ Cmd +  J

Method 2. Right-click the task. In the drop-down menu, select Set date > At the weekend.

Method 3. Open the task. Click on   Date. Click on   At the weekend.

To next month

If you postpone the task to the next month, it will be displayed in the Someday folder. On the first day of the next month, the task will appear in the Today folder.

Method 1. Select the task and press  ⌘ Cmd +  U

Method 2. Right-click the task. In the drop-down menu, select Set date > Next month.

Method 3. Open the task. Click on   Date. Click on   Next month.

For indefinite time

If you postpone the task indefinitely, it will be displayed in the Someday. folder. The task will not appear in the Today, folder until you move it to this folder yourself.

Method 1. Select the task and press  ⌘ Cmd +  4

Method 2. Right-click on the task. In the drop-down menu, select Set date > Someday.

Method 3. Open the task. Click on   Date. Click on   Someday.
