New sections

If you already have dozens of tasks in the project, so you can break this long unreadable list down into sections. One section means one stage of the project (for example, “Disassembling”, “Assembling”) or one type of tasks (“Plumbing work”, “Painting work"). You will feel relieved right away and understand the project better

Create a section

  1. Do one of the following:
    Method 1. Press  ⌘ Cmd +  Alt +  N together.
    Method 2. Click on    New section.

    The button   New section is on the Bottom toolbar. Bottom toolbar is a bar with 5 buttons at the bottom of the Main application panel. Each button on the Bottom toolbar gives quick access to any of the actions: create a task, create a section, set a date, move the task to another project, delete a task.

    Method 3. Right-click on an existing section. In the drop-down menu, select New section.
  2. Name the section.

    If you create an untitled section, it will be named “New Section”.

Add a task to a section

  1. Click the section or any task in this section.
  2. Press   New task.

Move a task to another section

  1. Press and hold the task with the left mouse button.
  2. Holding the button, drag the task to another place.

    Tasks can be dragged inside a section, from section to section, into another project, into the system folders: Inbox, Today, Upcoming, Favorites, Unallocated, Archive and Trash.

Converting section to a project

  1. Right-click the section.
  2. In the drop-down menu select Convert into project.

So the section will disappear and a project with the same name will appear instead, and it will contain all the tasks inside that were in the section.
