  3. Press  Enter

After that, the tag will be enclosed in a rectangular frame.

Multi-word tags

Unlike the tags that are entered by pressing # или @, in SingularityApp you can create beautiful multi-word tags without underscores.

All tasks with the same tag

  1. Click on   Tags in the Upper Toolbar.
  2. Right-click the tag. In the drop-down menu select All tasks with this tag.

Hotkey for the tag

You can assign a hotkey to any tag in SingularityApp. Using it you can mark tasks with this tag without opening them for editing.

To assign a hotkey to a tag do the following:

  1. Open the tag panel.

Click on the   tag icon in the upper toolbar.

  2. Hover over the required tag and select Assign a keyboard shortcut in the context menu.

The box to the left of the tag’s name will start blinking.

  3. On the keyboard, press the key that will become the hotkey for this tag.

The key’s symbol will be displayed in the box to the left of the tag’s name.

A key with a letter or a digit can be assigned as a hotkey.

To assign a tag to a task using a hotkey:

  1. In the list of tasks, select a task or several tasks at once that you want to mark with a tag.
  2. Press  Ctrl +  hotkey together (it is  Alt +  hotkey for Windows OS).

The tag will appear in the task description.

To remove a tag’s hotkey, in the tag panel:

Click on the box with the key’s symbol and press  Backspace
Tasks from different projects can have a lot in common. Some tasks have to be checked with boss. Other tasks can be done only in the downtown. You can create any tags for your tasks — “Ask boss”, “When I’m in the downtown” — and go to the task list with the desired tag easily
