Delete Tasks

You can delete an unnecessary task in SingularityApp in several quick ways.

How to Delete a Task

In the desktop version of the app, there are three main ways to delete a task:

  1. Using the bottom toolbar
    • Click the task to select it.
    • On the toolbar at the bottom of the screen, click the trash icon.
  2. Using the keyboard
    • Select the task you want to delete.
    • Press the Backspace or Delete key.
  3. Using the context menu
    • Right-click the task.
    • From the menu that appears, select „Delete Task“.

The mobile app offers several convenient ways to delete a task:

  1. Using a swipe
    • Short swipe left: Swipe the task from right to left to reveal the action icons, then tap the trash icon.
    • Long swipe left: Make a long left swipe across the task to delete it instantly.
    • If swipe actions don’t appear, they might be disabled in your settings. You can enable or disable them in SettingsInterfaceTask list.
  2. Using the long-press menu
    • Press and hold a task for a couple of seconds.
    • A toolbar will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap the trash icon.
  3. From the task editing window
    • Tap the task to open it for editing.
    • In the upper-right corner of the editing window, tap the menu (three-dot icon).
    • From the list of options, select „Delete“.
