- Highlight the task.
- Do one of the following:
Method 1. Click on Date.
The button Date is in the Bottom toolbar. The Bottom toolbar is the panel having five buttons at the bottom of the Main application panel. Each button in the Bottom Toolbar gives quick access to some features: create a task, create a section, set a date, move the task to another project, delete.
Method 2. Right-click on the task. In the drop-down menu select Date.
Method 3. Open the task and click on Date.
To open a task, double-click on it with the left mouse button. In the drop-down box you can change the name of the task, add a note, checklist, tags to the task. This box is called the Task Editor Panel. The button Date is located in the lower right corner of the Task Editor Panel.
Method 4. Press ⌘ Cmd + D
⌘ Cmd + T — to start doing the task today
⌘ Cmd + E — to start doing the task tonight
⌘ Cmd + 4 — to start doing the task the other day when you have time
⌘ Cmd + Y — to start doing the task tomorrow
⌘ Cmd + J — to postpone the task fulfillment till the weekend
⌘ Cmd + U — to postpone the task fulfillment for a month
Method 5. Hover the cursor over the task and click Date.
This icon appears to the right of a task
- Choose a date in the pop-up calendar or click on one of the buttons at the top of the calendar: Today, Tonight, Tomorrow, Weekend, Postpone.
To set the task time, you need to perform additional steps.
