Task filter

Open filter #

  • Click on the   filter icon in the upper toolbar.

  • The filter panel with filtering options will open on the right in the main application panel.

    All non-archived and non-deleted tasks will be displayed in the main application panel.

    Archived and deleted tasks will be displayed in the list if you select these values in the Status; filter parameter

  • When a filter is configured, active filtering options are displayed at the top of the filter panel.

    You can cancel a parameter by clicking on the X icon to the right of its name.

Filtering by project #

  • Click on the Project in the filter panel.

    A list of all projects will open.

  • Check in the checkbox of the required project in the list and click OK.

    The main application panel will display the tasks of the selected project. Tasks that are in the Archive or Trash are not displayed.

    You can select several projects for filtering, then the main panel will display the tasks of all selected projects.

    The project filter only processes active tasks in the application. Tasks that are in the Archive or Trash are not displayed in the results of filtering by project.

Filtering by tag #

  • Click on the Tags in the filter panel.

    A list of all tags will open.

  • Check the checkbox of the required tag in the list and click OK.

    Tasks with the selected tag will be displayed in the main application panel.

    You can select several tags for filtering, then the main panel will display tasks with all the selected tags.

    The tag filter only processes active tasks in the application. Tasks in the Archive or Recycle Bin are not displayed in the filtering results.

Filtering by date #

  • Click on the Date in the filter panel.

    A list of all available filtering options by date will open.

  • Choose the filtering option you need.

    Any date

    The main panel of the application will display all non-archived or unremoved tasks that have a due date, or recurrence, or “someday”.

    No due date

    The main application panel displays a list of tasks with no due date.

    Configure

    Configure the desired time frame for viewing tasks. You can view tasks of the past or upcoming period of any date range within one year.

    Someday

    The main application panel displays a list of tasks that are assigned to Someday.

    Past

    The main application panel will display a list of tasks for which the due date has elapsed (overdue tasks).

    Today

    The main application panel displays a list of tasks for today.

    Tomorrow

    The main application panel displays a list of tasks for tomorrow.

    Filter by date only processes active tasks. Tasks of the Archive or Trash are not displayed in the filtering results.

Filtering by status #

Statuses by which you can filter tasks:

  • Incomplete

    Displays the lists of unchecked tasks.

  • Completed

    Displays the lists of tasks that are marked as completed but have not been moved to the Archive.

  • Recurring tasks templates

    Displays the lists of task templates configured to reoccur.

  • Canceled tasks

    Displays the list of tasks that have been marked as canceled.

  • Archived tasks

    Displays the lists of all tasks moved to the Archive.

  • Removed tasks

    Displays the lists of all tasks in the Trash. The tasks removed from the Trash are not displayed in the list.

Filtering by priority #

  • Displays the lists of tasks with the selected priority level.

Advanced filter #

  • Select several filtering parameters one-by-one without canceling the previous selection.

    The main application panel will display a list of tasks having all the selected filtering parameters.

Save filter settings #

You can add advanced filters to your Favorites. This is perfect for the complex filters that are frequently used.

  • Configure a complex filter.
  • Click Add to Favorites below the list of active filtering options.

    The system will ask you to enter a name for the complex filter.

  • Now, the filter is available in the system folder Favorites.

  • To save the filter with a different name or a different set of parameters, apply the filter and click Add to Favorites again.
  • To remove a filter from Favorites, select it in Favorites and press  Backspace or select Remove from Favorites in the context menu.
